No matter what, when it comes to New Year’s Eve, it always feels like new beginnings are possible. Perhaps it is the fact that a new year is beginning, or perhaps it is the fact that chances are you’re gonna be a few champagne flutes down, but New Year’s can often be magical.
In the 2001 film Serendipity, Sara, played by Kate Beckinsale, and Jonathan, portrayed by John Cusack, form a strong connection after meeting randomly one day in Bloomingdale. They lose contact just to reconnect years later whilst they are both engaged to other people… Will they be each other’s New Year’s kiss? Only fate will tell…
