Make Them Do a Double Take
It’s quite funny when someone pays thousands of dollars, hops on a plane, and flies for hours to experience authentic culture distinct from their own, only to be greeted by signs of American brands, such as Google and McDonald’s. Of course, these aren’t the real companies, but it sure is an attention grabber!

Admittedly, we would probably check out these stores simply out of curiosity. So maybe these guys’ marketing strategy is more effective than we first thought. As long as they don’t get caught and crushed by the original U.S. brands, they should be okay! It’s doubtful that Google would bother threatening a small business owner in India, but who knows?
